Prineville Light Sport Flying Club

The Prineville Light Sport Flying Club is a non-profit corporation that was formed to provide fractional ownership in a tailwheel Light Sport Aircraft (LSA), tailwheel endorsements and Biennial Flight Reviews (BFR) in Light Sport Aircraft in the Oregon high desert area around Prineville airport (S39).

The Prineville Light Sport Flying Club is located in the High Desert Aviation hangar. on the Prineville, OR airport

The club maintains an Aeronca Champ, N82043, that meets Light Sport Aircraft criteria and has a CFI among the club membership. Club members buy a share in the club and become fractional owner and a Board member of the non-profit corporation with voting and solo flight priveleges. The club CFI can also provide Tailwheel endorsement, and/or LSA BFR flight instruction for non members. See the Club Bylaws for membership rules.

Erik Cook and Dean Billing explore possibility of creating a non-profit Light Sport Aircraft flying club and started a search for a Champ LSA. Fly to Baker, OR to inspect a possible 7AC aircraft.
